Ian lectures in screenwriting at the University of Chester. In addition, he delivers bespoke talks on writing – particularly narrative structure and the way stories work – that can last for one stand-alone session or run to a course of up to 24 weeks. He has delivered these classes to a wide variety of people – from school children to senior citizens – at various locations throughout the Northwest.

Prices vary according to length of talk and the number of people who will be in attendance, but can start as low as £60 for a two-hour introductory session.
